Manuel Felix Campos, 55, of Rocky Ford, Colorado passed away on February 4, 2025 at his Rocky Ford home. He was born February 12, 1969, in Denver, Colorado to Albert Gallegos and Mary Campos.
Manuel possessed a profound passion for auto mechanics that went beyond just an interest, it was a calling that shaped his identity and career. From a young age, he was drawn to the detailed work of engines and the thrill of fixing things. Over the years he expanded his skills and learned everything he could about auto repairs, eventually establishing himself as the go to for any car related issues. People could rely on Manuel to get the job done with precision and care. He was also an impressive break dancer, his skills on the dance floor often sparked friendly competitions where Manuel would show off his moves. His infectious smile and laughter had the ability to light up any room. Manuels vibrant personality left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Manuel is survived by his children, Cassie (Paublo Bailon) Campos of La Junta, CO; Manuel Phillip Campos of La Junta, CO; and Felicia Ann Campos of La Junta, CO; grandchildren, Paublo Bailon, Jr., Nicholas Bailon, & Analeya Bailon, Gabriel Campos & Faith Campos; mother of his children, Carmelita Olivares of La Junta, CO; his mother, Mary Campos; brothers, Joseph Campos & Mark Campos; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends also survive. He is preceded in death by his uncle, Alex Campos and grand-parents, Jose & Carmen Campos.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Friday, February 14, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. Both services held at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish in La Junta with Father Joseph Matitu officiating. Inurnment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in La Junta.
Memorial donations may be made to the Campos family or to Arkansas Valley Hospice.
