Margaret L. Howard

Margaret Louise Howard, 91, passed away on November 5, 2015 at the
Fowler Health Care Center. She was born on November 26, 1923
in Johnstown, Pennsylvania
to Abel & Elizabeth (Herter) Dickert.
 
She
quit school to take care of her mother. During WWII she worked in a factory
making radio parts. She got her GED when she was in her 50’s Then she got her CNA license and worked in a
nursing home until she got hurt. She then worked as a live in nanny for a young
man that lost his wife and left behind seven children. She later worked as a
home health care taker for the elderly. She loved caring for her family and
others. She came to Colorado to be with her daughter. Her greatest achievements
was raising her son & daughter and getting her GED.
 
Margaret
is survived by his son, Richard (Ruby) Howard of Fort Worth, TX; daughter,
Linda J. (Michael Catlin) Eckels of Rocky Ford, CO; sister, Mollie; grandchildren,
Sherry (Brent), Donna Lee (Marty), Tracy (Ricky Lee), Corinne (Nathan); great,
grandchildren, Cody, Amber, Sarah, Helana, Alex, Alysa, Kiyana, Cataleya,
Nailani;. She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Ralph J.
Howard, grandson, Richard A. Howard, Jr., siblings, Gus, John, Adam, Hinrich,
Elizabeth, Anna, George, Carolyn, Emil, Rosina, and Dorothy.
