Mary Emma Langley entered into her new life to be with her beloved “Frenchy” on April 12, 2014, 77 days after his death. She was born on March 12, 1922, to Pietro Antonio and Adelina (Talarico) Colosimo in La Junta, CO.

Mary enjoyed collecting autographs, bowling, making rosaries, taking pictures and making albums, traveling with family, making Italian cookies for lucky brides in La Junta. Mary was a faithful volunteer at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Church for more than 60 years. Her Italian cooking was legendary and her table was graced by the many priests that served in La Junta.

Mary was “Mom” to half the neighborhood and “Grandma” to the rest. Her popularity followed to the Pueblo Villa where she was crowned “Valentine Queen” and “Silver Queen”.

She is survived by her children, Joy (Kevin) Kubie and Rick Langley, two grandsons, and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Olan J. Langley, her parents, her sister Irene Mirabelli, brothers Emmett and Frank Colosimo, and daughter-in-law Marie Vider Langley.
