Mary Lou Marquardt was born May 5, 1931, in her grandparents’ home in Decatur, Arkansas, to Clarence and Agnes Levenhagen. She was raised in Estes Park and Denver, Colorado, where she graduated from East High School. She passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family, on November 10, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Marquardt; son, Brian Malkin; sisters, Carol Nicholas and Judy Furne.
She is survived by her sister, Linda McTavish; daughters, Kathy Hinger, Terri Slivka, Nancy Spera, and Edna Baptist; sons, Robert Malkin and Allen Marquardt; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Donations may be sent to Maranatha International, 3ABN, or Sangre de Cristo Hospice of La Junta.
A memorial service will be Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Littleton Seventh–day Adventist Church with Pastor Nathaniel Gamble officiating.
