Mildred Galine Fritz

Mildred Galine Fritz, 87, of Las Animas passed away on December 12, 2014 at her granddaughter’s home in Pueblo West. She was born on October 19, 1927 in Harper County, Oklahoma to Charles William & Susan Charity (Singer) Johnston. She married Robert Ashby Fritz on October 11, 1944 in Raton, New Mexico. 
 
Mildred was a farmer’s wife and was a member of the Melonfield Priscilla Club. She will be missed dearly by family and friends.
 
She is survived by her husband, Robert of the Las Animas home; Francis (Linda) Fritz of Douglas, WY; Virginia Moody of Bois City, OK; Raymond (Peggy) Fritz of Las Animas; sibling, Lillie Mae Glover, Roy Johnston; grandchildren, Francis Fritz, Jr., Veronica Norris, Gary Fritz, Loren Fritz, Cindy Rich, Sandy Hasui, Sheree Fritz, Kathy Niceschwander, and Randy Fritz; 29 great-grandchildren and three great,great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Malinda Ridley, Wesley Johnston, Frank Johnston, Margaret Katje, Milton Johnston, Floyd Johnston, and Grace Hambelton.
 
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sange De Cristo Hospice, 1207 Pueblo Blvd. Way, Pueblo, CO 81005.
 
 

As per Mildred’s request cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
