Molly J. Garcia

Molly J. Garcia, 49, of La Junta passed away on April 13, 2018 at the Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. She was born on January 7, 1969 in La Junta to Roberto & Molly (Baros) Garcia.

Molly was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking for everyone and making everyone laugh. Her family was very important and came first, she will be missed dearly by them.

She is survived by her husband, Lencho Lopez of the La Junta home; son, Phillip (Claudia Llaca) Garcia of La Junta; siblings, Joe (Lulu) Garcia of La Junta; Dora Martinez of La Junta; Connie (George) Vasquez of La Junta; Jenny (Chapo) Garcia of Las Animas; Lucy Garcia of Pueblo; Pauline Garcia of Denver; Mary (Ruben) Magana of Denver; Teddy (Lisa) Garcia of La Junta; Butch Garcia of Pueblo; Alejandra Garcia, Bubba Garcia and Chico Garcia all of Kansas City, Missouri; three grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews and in-laws also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents, Jose (Ramona) Garcia; mother-in-law, Susie Lopez.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Henry Wertin officiating.

In lieu of flowers those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to charity of choice direct or through the funeral home.
