Natividad Rosales

Natividad “Tivi” Rosales, 86, passed away on February 4, 2013 at her La Junta home.  She was born on September 8, 1926 in La Junta, Colorado to Conrad & Marcelina (Hernandez) Zavala. She married Refugio “Rufus” Rosales on October 22, 1948 in La Junta, Colorado; he preceded her in death on October 24, 1997.

Tivi was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Tivi is survived by her son, Gregory M. (Marilynn) Rosales of Pueblo, CO;  daughters, Sandra Ann (Robert) Herrera of Pueblo, CO; Rosalie E. (Donny) Britton of Swink, CO; Sara Lee Rosales of Pueblo, CO; Geralyn (Tom) Adamski of Brownwood, TX; 14 grandchildren,  24 great-grandchildren; brother, Cecil (Carmen) Zavala of Rocky Ford, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Cindy Rosales, two grandchildren, seven brothers and three sisters.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary was held on February 7, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. followed by funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. both services at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Thaddeus Onuemagbu officiating.
