Nettie Ann Morley, 68, of Cheraw, was greeted into Heaven on January 8, 2018 by her parents, George Washington & Florence Viola (McGown) Morley; sister, Syble Blocker, nephew, Bruce Bickle, Jr., brother, Darrell Hunter, brother-in-law, Ron Sales and nephews, Jim Sales and Aaron Turner
Nettie was born in La Junta and grew up in the Villagreen area where she spent most of her time riding and playing with her sisters. She later moved to La Junta where she finished school. Married and had three children. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years at McKenzie Furniture and later retired from La Junta Furniture.
She enjoyed life, never missing her kid’s ball games and then following her grandchildren. Her greatest pleasure in life was her family.
She is survived by her son, John (Diane) Fazekas and grandchildren, Tyler and Dylan; daughters, Christina (Raymond) Johnson and grandchildren, Breanna, Brenda, and Randall; Crystal (Terry) Pemberton and grandchildren, Alishia and Crystal; great-grandchild, Emma; sisters, Barbara (Chuck) Wagner, Martha Sales, Janet (Tim) McManis.
A memorial service will be Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the East Holbrook Mennonite Church in Cheraw with Pastor Brian Hanneken officiating.
In lieu of flowers those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice, 1207 Pueblo Blvd Way, Pueblo, CO, 81005 direct or through the funeral home.
