Nona G. Resel

Nona G. Resel, 85, a lifelong resident of Las Animas passed away on April 2, 2021 at the Bent County Healthcare Center. She was born on July 5, 1935 in Lamar to Ray & Naomi (Rich) Sallee.

Nona was a great artist, who designed jewelry, painted with watercolors, made Christmas ornaments. She also enjoyed selling antiques which she did all her life, beginning with Native American Jewelry. She enjoyed reading, collecting Indian Pottery & Baskets. She would attend antique shows in Denver. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Larry Resel of Las Animas and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Friends Church in Las Animas.
