Norma E. Crosson

Norma E. Crosson, 95, of Cheraw passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at the Arkansas Valley Regional Nursing Care Center. She was born on October, 5, 1919 in Hugo, Colorado to Sanford and Levi Ione Daniel, the seventh of eleven children.

Norma married the love of her life, Paul William "Bill" Crosson, of Karval, Colorado on May 28, 1937. They moved to Cheraw in 1947 where they raised their three children Jack, Frank, and Cheryl.

Norma is survived by her children, Jack (Ida Mae) of Van Buren, AK, Frank (Barbara) of Colorado Springs, Cheryl (Stan) of Cheraw, eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and four great, great-grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and six sisters, daughter in law, Judy Crosson, and grandson, Jeff Crosson.

Norma was a loving and devoted housewife, mother who worked as a bookkeeper for fifty years. Norma passed her love of music and beautiful singing voice to her children.  Norma was involved and devoted to her church and community.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cheraw United Methodist church direct or through the funeral home. 

 
 

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cheraw United Methodist Church with Reverend Tom Dudley officiating.  Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in La Junta.
