Patrick J. Martinez

Patrick J. Martinez, 53, of Rocky Ford passed away on March 27, 2017 at the Sangre De Cristo Hospice & Palliative Care in Pueblo. He was born on March 17, 1964 in Rocky Ford to Ralph & Mary (Roybal) Martinez, Sr. He married Tammi Trujillo on August 21, 2004, and they had just recently celebrated 33 years together.

They made their home in Rocky Ford where they raised their three children. He had a great love for his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed all sports and spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Tammi of the Rocky Ford home; children, Michael Martinez, Joseph Martinez, and Christin Martinez all of Rocky Ford; siblings, Johnny Gonzalez of Rocky Ford; Mary (Roman) Arellano of Rocky Ford; Jane (Tony) Burciago of Colorado Springs; Frances (Lee) Council of Rocky Ford; Roger Gonzalez of Denver; Bobby Baca of New Mexico; seven grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Ralph Martinez, Jr.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Rocky Ford with Pastor Ken Wood officiating.
