Pauline Landrus, 84, of La Junta passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Nursing Care Center. Pauline was born in Phoebe, Mississippi to Wilbur & Ida (Williamson) Barmore. She married Earl Blake, he preceded her in death in 1988. She later married Howard Landrus, he preceded her in death in 1993.
Pauline loved quilting, flowers and she had an amazing green thumb when it came to gardening. She also enjoyed fishing and camping.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Johnnie) DeLeon of La Junta; son, Lynn (Cathy) Blake of Farmersville, Texas; grandchildren, Royce (Candace) Bell, Shannon (Zach) Kuhn, Derek (Michelle) DeLeon, Elizabeth, Lauren, and Meredith; great-grandchildren, Austin, Hunter, Tanner, Khloe, Pierce, and Justize; special friend, Clint Fuller of La Junta.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, son, Royce Blake, daughter, Ann Barbay, brother, Thomas H. Barmore and a sister, Maurine Latham.
Memorial service will be Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 6 p.m. at the Emmanuel Mennonite Church with Reverend Davyd Graybill officiating.
Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home and Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
