Pauline P. Guerrero

April 6, 1924 — October 7, 2018

Pauline P. Guerrero, 94, passed away on Oct. 7, 2018 at her La Junta home. She was born on Apr. 6, 1924 in Lamar, Colorado to Carmen & Benita (Baca) Palacio. Pauline married Ernest Guerrero on Aug. 16, 1948 in La Junta; he preceded her in death on June 5, 2010. Pauline was a cook at the Harvey House, Kit Carson, Henry’s Supper Club and Henry’s Liquor Store.

Pauline is survived by her children, Margaret (Floyd) Espinoza, Teresa Fields, Helen (Edward) Pino, Ernestine (Ron) Wells, and Daniel (Joni) Guerrero; sisters, Josie (Joe) Romero, Rosie Munoz, and Ramona (Frank) Sanchez; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and four great, great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law, Harry Fields, three sisters and three brothers.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Cemetery with Brother Mike Encina of the Maranatha Fellowship officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
