Perfelia A. Trujillo

Perfelia A Trujillo, 90, passed away on November 17, 2019 at her Manzanola home. She was born on April 14, 1929 in Center, CO to Melecio and Adela (DeHerrera) Atencio. She married Alfonso Trujillo on August 7, 1948 in Center, CO.

She was a homemaker, a faithful servant of god. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed westerns, Walker Texas Ranger and the channel 11 line up. She was a strong woman and had a heart of so much love for her husband and family.

She survived by her husband of the home; children, Catherine (Thomas) Martinez of Pueblo, CO; Elaine Trujillo of Manzanola, CO; Jose (Gloria) Trujillo of Denver, CO; Sharon Valencia of Pueblo, CO; Charles (Eva) Trujillo of Lakewood,CO; Julia (Fermin) Ornelas of Rocky Ford, CO; Larry (Judy Padilla) Trujillo of Rocky Ford, CO; Albert (MaryAnn) Trujillo of Manzanola, CO; Bertha (Ernest Teto) Encinias of Manzanola, CO; Lawrence (Irene) Trujillo of Lakewood, CO; Delfinia Trujillo of Pueblo, CO; Annette (Walter) Martinez of Center, CO, and Richard (Joyce) Trujillo of Center, CO; and her sister, Mary Atencio of Center, CO; 34 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren, and one great, great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Felemon, Lucia, and Rita; son-in-law, Tomas Valencia; eight brothers and two sisters.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. both services at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Rocky Ford with Father Paul Ekeh officiating. Interment will follow at Mountainview Cemetary in Manzanola.
