Phillip Bryan Amos, 53, passed away on August 6, 2018 at his La Junta home surrounded by his loving wife and friends. He was born on Feb. 6, 1965 in Rome, Georgia to Robert & Betty (Porter) Amos.
Phillip graduated from Cass High School in 1985. He was a grill cook for Waffle House, Carpet Mill worker, and a telephone utility locator for Bell South. He was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, ACS Pool League, and the Arkansas Valley Community Cancer Support Group.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Tracy of the La Junta home; daughter, Tiffany Duvall of Cassville, GA; son, Colt Amos of Alpharetta, GA; mother, Betty Amos of Kingston, GA; and his sister, Diane Tucker of Kingston. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Amos, and brother, Michael Amos.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be at a later date in Kingston, GA.
