Ralph Daniel Round

Ralph Daniel Round, 85, passed away unexpectedly on December 9, 2022, at his La Junta home. He was born on August 4, 1937, in La Junta to Ralph & Blanche (Whitlock) Round. He married Lora Jane Snelson on July 29, 1956, in La Junta; she preceded him in death in 2013.

He lived and worked his entire life on the family ranch. He was devoted to God, his family, his animals and his many friends.

He is survived by his children, Dr. Ralph (Debbie) Round of Denver; Russell Round of La Junta; Rhonda (Monte) Sammons of Kim; five grandchildren, Dr. September (Kyle) Atwater of Woodrow, CO; Ashley (Aaron) Kough of Russell Springs, KS; Hayley Round of San Francisco, CA; Ian Round of Aspen, CO; Oliver Round of Denver; three great-granddaughters, Kitty, Daisy and Lilly Kough. He was a fun dad, and an even funnier Papa. He will be greatly missed.

As per his request, there will be no services.
