Ralph Hank Shelton

Ralph M. “Hank” Shelton, 72, of La Junta, passed away on July 29, 2013 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 17, 1940 to Ralph Wayne & Minnie Christine (Feymour) Shelton in Shamrock, Texas. He married his soul mate, Maria Knolmayer on May 4, 1990.

Hank loved farming, his cattle, driving his draft horses and he was an all-around cowboy. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his son, Jody (Amy) Shelton; daughters, Pat, Cindy , and Erin; wife, Maria; three sisters; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews; his dog Tinkerbell, Zippers the cat and Buford the mule. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be held at a later date.
