Ramon Chacon

Ramon Chacon, 72, of La Junta passed away April 24, 2015, at the Arkansas Valley Regional Nursing Care Center. He was born on September 3, 1942 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico to Felemon & Vita (Anchondo) Chacon.


He is survived by his daughters, Jean (Charley) Zuendel of Colorado Springs, Stephanie (Ken) Powell of Denver, and Michelle Chacon of La Junta; grandchildren, Cameo & Christian Campos and Sophia Zuendel; sisters, Remedios Chacon, Ana Chacon and Rafa Fernandez all of Chihuahua, Mexico; also numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, beloved son, Anthony Chacon, and grandchildren McKenzie and Madison Zuendel.


Peacock Larsen funeral home and Arkansas Valley crematory is in charge of arrangements.



Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Matthew Wertin officiating. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.
