Randolph Wesley Hogan

Randolph Wesley “Randy” Hogan, 55, passed away on March 22, 2012 at his La Junta home. He was born on July 25, 1956 in Riverside, California to Everett & Marjorie (McKaughn) Hogan. 

Randy graduated from Fowler High School class of 1975. He attended two years at OJC in the Automotive Kavoc program while in high school and one year of Diesel Mechanics at the Southern Colorado State College. He was a volunteer at the La Junta Raceway; member of the National Rifle Association and the National Hot Rod Association. He enjoyed anything that had to do with racing and spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Randy was also a Christian.

He is survived by his sons, Eric (Nicole) Hogan of La Junta; Patrick Hogan of Canon City; grandchildren, Adam and Chevelle Hogan both of La Junta & Alexis and Kayona Hogan both of Las Animas, Colorado; and his brother, Jeff (Elizabeth) Hogan of Hudson, Colorado.  Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Everett & Marjorie Hogan.

Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.


Memorial services will be Saturday, March 31, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Larry Pieper officiating.
