July 29, 1952 — October 2, 2017

Randy Adam Bitter, 65, went to be with the Lord on October 2, 2017 after a seven week stay at the Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo. He was born on July 29, 1952 in Rocky Ford, Colorado to George Adam & Sara (Grasmick) Bitter. He fought a valiant battle and kept the strong faith that God was in control and no matter the outward circumstances, His love is greater.

While attending college he met and later married Deborah Colton, they were blessed with two sons, Jason and Brent. The family moved to Fowler in 1976. Randy was a mechanic working on everything from tractors to lawn mowers. At one time he owned and operated his own business in Fowler, served on the city council, and also served as mayor for a time. He and Deb were also active in church, they led worship together, were youth group leaders, and he was also on the board and served as Treasure for a time.

Randy had no greater pride and joy than this two grandchildren, Lexie & Luke, nothing gave him more joy then watching them play sports or just spending time with them.
