Raymond Earl Hunter

Raymond Earl Hunter, 90, passed away on November 11, 2013 at the Winslow Court Assisted Living in Colorado Springs. He was born on August 14, 1923 in La Junta, Colorado to John F. & Inez (Eveatt) Hunter.
Raymond graduated from La Junta High School and shortly after began working for the Santa Fe Railroad and working on railroad for 39 years. He was a member of the Colorado Springs Central Methodist Church and was an avid sports fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Raymond is survived by his daughter, Janet McManis; sisters, Dorothy Moulton and Lucille Burrchet; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Iona Lee Hunter on Dec. 28, 2010; two sons, Darrell and Keith Hunter.

 



Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Gary Goettel officiating.
