Rhonda Jean Atkinson

Rhonda Jean Ward-Atkinson, 64, passed away November 19, 2024 at Memorial Central Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born on August 12, 1960 in Torrance California. She was the third child of Robert Lee and Mary Louise (Crow) Ward. When she was 8 months old the family moved to Colorado. They lived in Englewood, Colorado for a while and then moved to Westminster, Colorado where they lived for over 20 years. Rhonda had a happy childhood and got her education there.

After she graduated from High school she married Wesley Kinnison. She gave birth to her first child, Brandi Marie Kinnison on May 13, 1980. Following her divorce from Wesley, a few years later she married Wayne Hight and they were blessed with her second child, Christopher Lee Hight on January 2, 1985. Many years later she met and married Harry Atkinson who she referred to as the love of her life.

Rhonda is survived by her daughter, Brandi Marneweck and her children, Mario Francis Kinnison, Makenzie Dawn Kinnison and Andrea Marneweck; her son, Christopher (Courtney) Hight, and their children, Morgan, Dylan, Addison, Faith, Kit, Maggie; her mother Mary Louise Ward; her brother, Steven Ward; and Many nieces and nephews survive. She was preceded in death by infant grandson, Christopher, her father, Robert Ward and her sister, Pamela Lynn Cass.
