Robert G. Schandelmeier

Robert "Bob" G. Schandelmeier, 91, passed away on December 18, 2015 at his
Swink home. He was born on November 21, 1924
in Rockford, Illinois
to George & Laura (Hecht) Schandelmeier.
 
Bob
worked as a Journeyman Electrician for 34 years. He served in the United States
Army during World War II.  He will be
greatly missed by his family and friends.
 
Bob
is survived by his daughters, Terri Walsh of Virginia Beach, VA and Debbie
Schandelmeier of Swink; brothers, Jack Schandelmeier of Duran, IL and Merle
(Judy) Schandelmeier of Loves Park, IL; three grandchildren, eight
great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces
and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister-in-law,
Phoebe Schandelmeier.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ark Valley Hospice or Clean Valley Recycling direct or through funeral home.

A gathering of family and
friends to celebrate Bob's life will be Monday, December 28, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Swink United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
