Robert Kehn

Robert Kehn, 78, of Rocky Ford went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2015 at the Arkansas
Valley Regional Medical
Center in La Junta. He was born on February
12, 1937 in Loveland, Colorado
to Clarence & Justine (Statman) Kehn. He married Judy Barnett on June
29, 1958.
 
He
attended and graduated from Rocky Ford high school in 1956. He worked at the
Grand Theater as a projectionist and the Starlight Drive-in in Rocky Ford. In
1959 he was drafted into the Army and was stationed at Fort Belvoir in
Alexandria, VA where he was a photographer. He was honorable discharged in
February of 1962. He then worked at the North American Dehydrator Company in
Rocky Ford and at Dean Pickle where he retired in 2006. During his retirement
he enjoyed fishing, working around the house/yard, and attended the Washington
Baptist Church until its closure.
 
Robert
is survived by his wife, Judy of the Rocky Ford home; daughters, Lori (Cecil)
Osburn of Rocky Ford and Debbie McLain of La Junta; grandson, David (Jessica)
McLain; great-grandson, Alan McLain of Las Animas; and his brother, Donald
(Virginia) Kehn of Rocky Ford; and several nieces and nephews also survive. He
was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, Nolan & Ruby Barnett,
grandparents, brother, Delbert Kehn son-in-law, Steve McLain and his beloved
cat, Tigger.   



Those wishing to make donations in his name may make them to Pioneer Health
Care Center, American Heart Association, or the Alzheimer’s Association direct
or through the funeral home.

Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.


 A private family service will be held at a later date.
