Robert L. Jackson

Robert Jackson, 83, passed away on January 30, 2016 at the Bent County
Memorial Nursing Home in Las Animas. He was born to William "Bill"
& Lula (Ingalls) Jackson on December 9, 1932
in Hardesty, OK.
 
He farmed as a young man in the Villagreen area. He worked
at American Crystal for several years and worked in the Maintenance Department
for the town of Swink. He also had
a lawn mowing business and in his free time he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
 
He is survived by his children, Rusty (Arlene) Jackson of
Swink; Cindy (Cory) Fishell of Castle Rock, CO; Zella (Max) Goodman of La
Junta, CO; grandchildren, John Jackson; Cody, Jordan & Sara Goodman;
Julius, Aiden, Xavier, and Zachary Fishell; mother of his children, Lois
Jackson of Swink; numerous nieces & nephews also survive. He was preceded
in death by his parents, sisters and their husbands, Maude (Floyd) Jacobs,
Grace (Roy) Christensen, and Beulah
(Joe) Like; and brother and his wife, Bud (Lillian) Jackson; brother, Lester
Jackson; brother and his wife, Everett "Babe" (Martha) Jackson; also four baby sisters and one baby brother.

direct or through the funeral home.

crematory is in charge of arrangements.


 
Memorial services will be Thursday, February
11, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., at Peacock Memorial Chapel with Pastor John
Dell of the First Christian Church of Rocky Ford officiating.
