Ronald Ray Sales

Ronald Ray Sales, 64, of La Junta, passed away July 8, 2015 at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo.  He was born on March 2, 1951 to Edward & Mary (Jones) Sales in Lamar, Colorado. He married Martha “Marty” Morley in La Junta in 1977.  
 
Ron had 14 years of schooling. He worked for Don Schauer Construction, then worked for HLM Construction out of Swink, CO, then worked for Gateway Construction in Grand Junction, CO where he became partner-ownership until retirement. Ron enjoyed fishing, playing golf, riding RTV’s, and helping others he will be missed dearly.
 
He survived by his wife, Martha “Marty” of the La Junta home; his parents, Ed & Mary Sales of La Junta; grandchildren, Cody & Connor Coblentz of Kentucky; brothers, Joe Sales of Garden City, KS; Hugh Sales of Wichita, KS; and Steve Sales of La Junta. He was preceded in death by his son, James Arthur Sales of Parachute, CO and sister, Sharon Burhenn of Kingfisher, OK. 
 
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mosaic, 2708 N. 11th St, Garden City, KS, 67846 direct or through the funeral home.
 
 
 

Funeral services will be Monday, July 13, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the La Junta Baptist Tabernacle Church with Pastor Jon Brandt officiating. Interment will be Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Battlement Mesa Cemetery in Battlement Mesa, Colorado.
