Sandra Vigil Ramirez

Sandra Vigil Ramirez, 52, of La Junta went to be with the
Lord on November 10, 2015 at the University Hospital in Aurora, Colorado.
Sandra was called to a reunion with family and friends, a reunion which she
will not return. She was born on July 17, 1963 in La Junta to Raymond &
Elsie (Ortiz) Vigil. 
 
Sandra attended La Junta schools and graduated with the
class of 1982. She was employed at Inspiration Field. She loved to bake and she
loved helping anyone she came in contact with and was not a selfish person. Her
true passion was giving to others and making a difference in people’s lives. In
her last days, she had a renewed love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She
will be truly missed by her family and friends.
 
She is survived by her mother, Elsie Vigil; husband,
Lawrence Ramirez, Jr. of 33 years; children, Erika (Jose) Fuentes, Aaron
Ramirez, and Lyndsey Ramirez; grandchildren, Alana and Jose Fuentes, Jr.,
Victor “Boo” Rivera; brothers, Ezekiel “Zeke” (Debbie) Vigil and Raymond Vigil,
Jr., sisters, Henrietta (Jesse) Orozco and Loretta Nielsen; brother-in-law’s,
Victor Mata and Michael Nielsen; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also
survive. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Vigil, sister, Nancy
Mata, and infant daughter, Julie Ann.
 
In lieu of flowers the family would like you to make memorial
contributions the Inspiration Field, 612 Adams, La Junta, CO, 81050 direct or
through the funeral home.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God with Pastor Jim Crandel officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel. Inurnment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in La Junta.
