Sharron E. Edwards

Sharron E. Edwards, 69, passed away on July 31, 2013 at her La Junta home. Sharron was born on August 30, 1943 in La Junta, Colorado to Reverend Bert & Margaret (Wilks) Edwards, Jr.
Sharron graduated from Englewood High School in 1961. Sharron was a fashion buyer for many years for several large name stores. She came back to La Junta in the fall of 2002 to help take care of her father.
She is survived by her nieces, Ronda (Pat) Higgens, Renee (Tim) Brown; and nephew, David (Leah) Edwards; great-nephew & niece Elijah & Asher; sister-in-law, Carol & Melvin Anderson; her many friends and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Ronald Dennis Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene direct or through the funeral home.
Peacock-Larsen & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.


Graveside service will be Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery with Reverend Andy Albright of the First Church of the Nazarene officiating.
