Stacey Y. Hernandez

Stacey Y. Hernandez, 46, peacefully entered into rest on December 28, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on August 31, 1968 in Rocky Ford to Antonio Saldana & Gloria Batres.
 
Stacey worked as a C.N.A. for many years, she loved to help people. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a great cook and was always making funny jokes. Stacey worked very hard her entire life to take care of her children. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
 
She is survived by her children, Manuel (Melissa) Hernandez of Pueblo, Sara (Elicia) Hernandez of Rocky Ford; grandchildren, Ezequiel Hernandez, Braxton Hernandez, Gabriella Aragon, Alexandria Aragon, Antonio Torrez, and Audrey Hernandez; brothers, Juan Rivera and Mario (Michelle) Rivera both of Ft. Morgan, CO; boyfriend of many years, Carlos Castillo. She was preceded in death by her parents.

 
 
 

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Rocky Ford with Father Matthew Wertin of the Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish officiating. Interment will follow at the Rocky Ford Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Peacock Memorial Chapel.
