Thomas Hernandez, Jr., 62, of Northglenn, Colorado and formerly of La Junta passed away on August 5, 2017. He was born in La Junta on August 5, 1955 to Thomas, Sr. & Antonia (Barela) Hernandez.

Thomas was a loving and kind father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was loved very much by his family, friends and will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his children, Richard Hernandez of Colorado Springs, CO; Abel Hernandez of Denver; Joseph Hernandez of Pueblo; Michael Hernandez of Garden City, KS; granddaughter, Ariana Hernandez; numerous nieces & nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Regina Hernandez and ex-wife, Eva Hernandez.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., both services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe/St. Patrick Parish with Father Henry Wertin officiating. Visitation will be prior from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in La Junta.
