Tina Arguello Garcia

July 3, 1964 — March 17, 2018

On Saturday March 17, 2018 Tina Arguello Garcia, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, and Friend suddenly passed away at the young age of 53 at her La Junta home. Tina was born on July 3, 1964 in La Junta, to Raymond “Trigger” & Lucy (Martinez) Arguello. She was one of six children and she was extremely close to her sisters and brothers to her whole family because family was one of the most important things to her.

She was a huge bronco fan, she enjoyed coloring and teaching her kids, grand kids, nieces, and nephews arts, crafts, and anything related to school as well. She loved decorating especially for the holidays, if you would drive by her house no matter what holiday it was it was always full of decorations and lights she even won the City of La Junta Christmas Light display contest one year. She loved cruising around town, going out to the lake, or just going anywhere. Her last long ride was with her daughter Erica from Pueblo when Erica bought her new car. She had a nice kickback area in the back all decorated with her bronco stuff, art from her grand kids, and toys full of toys. Family and friends would always stop by around 4:20 to visit with her and share some laughs, talks, a Dr. Pepper or even to watch Love and Hip Hop her favorite show. She also loved to swim that was her favorite when she didn't go to the lake she would buy a huge swimming pool and watch all the kids swim even get in it herself.

Tina will be forever remembered by her children Melissa Garcia, Christopher (Sandie) Garcia, and Erica Arguello all of La Junta, CO; grandchildren, Christopher, Teaaira, LaNae, Daeshia, and Leniyah; her mother, Lucy Arguello; siblings, Debra (Jeremy) Mitchell of Pueblo; Arlene (Dan) Lopez of La Junta; Lucille (Fransisco) Leyba of Mora, NM; Kenny (Michelle) Arguello and Chris (Crystal) Arguello all of La Junta; also survived by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins. Tina was preceded in death by her dad, Raymond “Trigger” Arguello, her niece, Daeshia Garcia.
