Tracy Lynn (Cleaver) Kim, 50 passed away on March 20, 2018 at her Las Animas home. After her courageous and long battle with breast cancer. She was born on May 30, 1967 in Oklahoma City, OK to Jerry & Lauren Kay (Tharp) Cleaver.
She received her Master’s Degree in early education from the University of Oklahoma to pursue her teaching career. Tracy moved to Colorado with her husband, Terry Kim. She loved road trips across the country with her husband. She was very civic-minded and ran for City Council in Las Animas. She loved art, gardening, bicycling, and was a friend to the American Fighter Aces.
She was survived by her husband, Terry Kim; mother, Kay Cleaver; father, Jerry Cleaver; brother, Jeremiah Cleaver and sister, Kelly (Dominic Jarrett) Cleaver; sons, Alex and Andrew Harnack; granddaughter, Stiley Harnack; whom she adored along with her grandpa Jack of Edmond; nieces, Kaylee and Quincy Cleaver; nephews, Racey Jarrett and Logan Price; great-niece, Harlow Monroe Price; many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. She will be missed by her family and friends. Tracy is at peace now after her courageous fight for years.
A memorial service will be held on April 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Las Animas, CO.
At Tracy’s request in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or to charity of choice.
