Center in Louisville, Colorado. She was born January 6, 1932 in Springfield, CO
to Pearl Francis and Hazel (Abbott) Tomlin. She grew up in Las Animas, CO and
was the fifth of six children. She was raised a good part of her life by
Hazel's second husband, W.B."Buck" Barnes.
Twila was married
to Kenneth Earl Parks from 1951-1969. During that time they lived in several

their skill and grace on the dance floor and asked if they were professional
dancers. She said she would like the chance to dance with Gene Kelly but
unfortunately she never had that opportunity. Twila worked at Sears in Pueblo
until she retired in 1993.
During her
declining years, Bill was a devoted, dedicated and  loving caregiver for
Twila, providing comfort, preparing  her meals and making sure her
complicated, demanding treatment regimen was followed.
She was preceded in
death by her first husband Kenneth Parks,  father, Pearl Francis
Tomlin,  step father W.B. “Buck” Barnes,  mother Hazel Barnes,
