Ty Michael Briggs

Ty Michael Briggs, 30, of La Junta passed away July 7, 2015 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma following a motor vehicle accident. He was born on September 19, 1984.  He married Ashley Bryant on July 15, 2005. 
 
Ty proudly served in the Air Force.  Ty loved working on cars, he was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan and loved spending time helping his kids with sports.  He was frequently helping those in need. 
 
Ty is survived by his wife Ashley, his sons Tanner, Kolten and Tristan all of Pueblo, CO;  mother, Sandra Briggs of Colorado Springs;  birth mother, Beth (Tom) Stroud of Perkins, OK;  grandmother, Dale Hankins of Pueblo; sister, Tiffany (Antonio) Morales of La Junta and brother, Riley (Alexandra Bellar) Briggs of Colorado Springs. He was preceded in death by his father; grandfathers, Marvin Briggs, Sr. and Joe Hankins.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene with military honors by the Rocky Ford Rifle Team.
