Utimio Leonard Sandoval, 54, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010 at his Rocky Ford home. He was born on January 15, 1956 in Rocky Ford to Viola (Lucero) & Antonio Sandoval.
Utimio was a carpenter and a carpet layer. He was a member of the Native American Way of Life.
He is survived by his mother, Viola Gonzalez; father, Antonio Sandoval; children, Leonard Sandoval, Jr., and Cornelio Sandoval; grandchildren, Kamilla, Jaden & Kassandra; brothers, Robert Sandoval, Alex (Lisa) Sandoval, Joe (Vicki) Sandoval, Tony Sandoval, Harold Gonzalez, Arnold Gonzalez, Rudy Sandoval; sisters, Gloria Gonzalez, Betty Rodriquez, Sandra Gonzalez, Lori Ann Sandoval, and Lorrain Sandoval. Utimio was preceded in death by his brother Herman Sandoval.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Monday, November 29, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. and Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m., both services will be at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Rocky Ford with Father Don Malin officiating.
