Vanetta Rosemond Neil

Vanetta Rosemond Neil, 89, of Cheraw, Colorado, passed away on November 8, 2024 at the Bent County Nursing Home in Las Animas, Colorado. She was born March 7, 1935, to Vanie & Ruth (Thompson) Spencer in Battle Creek, Michigan. 

Vanetta is survived by her children, Joseph Neil of Colon, MI and Syd Eveatt of Cheraw, CO; grandchildren, Ernie Goad, Veronica Smith, Megen Smith, and Lilli Neil; great-grandchildren, Austin Lear, Nathan Smith, Dakota Smith, Hailey Goad, Savannah Smith, and Cole Smith; great-great granddaughter, Zelda Lear; siblings, Jackie Kelly and Robert Spencer both of Michigan; numerous nieces & nephews also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Neil; son, Richard Allen Neil; siblings, and her brothers, Leo & Jim Spencer.
