Victor Issac Medina

Victor Issac Medina, 24, of La Junta, Colorado, went to be with the Lord on April 8, 2016, due to a tragic automobile accident.
 
He was born March 12, 1992, in La Junta, Colorado, the son of Issac and Terri Medina. He was the older brother of Antonio Medina. He was married to Ashley Altamirano. He will be survived by his daughter Sadie Dot’ lynn Medina.
 
He is also survived by his grandparents Louis (deceased) and Eleanor Peteque, Victor and Gloria Medina. Aunts and uncles include Orlando Medina, Mike Medina and girls, Luther Medina (deceased), Alex and Nicole (Chavez) Medina , Edward  Peteque and sons, Roger (deceased) Victoria Florez and girls, Victor and Elizabeth Gomez and children, Junior and Katie Morales and girls, Robert and Christa Peteque and children. Along with many more aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones not listed.
 
He graduated from La Junta High School in 2010 where he was a member of the football team # 64 and wrestling team at 189. He also graduated from Otero Junior College for automotive mechanics in 2014.
 
Victor was a loving and devoted family man with a goof-ball personality, who always had a smile on his face that was contagious to others. He enjoyed music and dancing with the company of family and friends. He had a care-free personality that allowed him to enjoy life to the fullest.

A Rosary in honor of Victor will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 9:30 a.m., directly following will be the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery. There will be a lunch for friends and family at the parish hall.
