Victoria J. Warren, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 15, 2012, at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center. She was born in La Junta on June 16, 1946 to Warren & Charlene (Garcia) Snyder.
Vicki was a dedicated teacher at Columbian Elementary School, where she taught 2nd grade for many years. She also touched the lives of clients in her positions at Inspiration Field (Girch Center) and the Women’s Resource Center. She was an amazing woman who raised her daughters by herself and held the family together; she had an amazing strength and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Vicki is survived by her mother, Charlene Snyder; daughters, Kimi Warren and Patricia (Aarron) Macias; grandchildren, Zane, Dax, and Bryn; siblings, Janice Whatley, Sylvia (Michael) Douglass & Karen (Lonnie) Estep; also her extended family, Shelly, Paul & Marcos Trujillo, Brian Whatley, Levi & Sally Dellinger, Sean, Cassie, Chloe, Joshua, Michael and Chris Douglass. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Snyder, daughter, Ruthie Warren, and her brother, Gary Snyder.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
