Wanda P. Yeargan

Wanda P. Yeargan, 80, of La Junta, passed away June 7, 2013, at the Arkansas Valley Regional Nursing Care Center. Wanda was born on Jan. 16, 1933, in La Junta to William Cleveland & Esther Pauline (Moore) Sharp. She was married in La Junta in 1963 to Tommie Wilson Yeargan; he preceded her in death on July 18, 1989.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Kay (Thomas) Winfrey of Rocky Ford, Tommie W. (Melissa) Yeargan, Jr. of Mission Viejo, CA and Marlene F. Boettcher of La Junta; sister, Marylin F. Dunfee of Round Rock, TX; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, William & Esther Sharp, her husband, Tommie W. Yeargan, her son, Gary Adams, her brother, William Charles Sharp, and her sister, Shirley Wise.
