William & Christina Repola

The family of William “Bill” & Christina “Tina” Repola will have graveside service for both of them on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Doug Manley officiating.
William was born on August 11, 1918 in Walsenburg, CO to Vincenzo & Virgina Repola and passed away on August 9, 2009 in North Richland Hills, Texas. Christina was born on November 29, 1921 in Salida, CO to Emil & Flora Leo and passed away on July 29, 2010 in North Richland Hills, Texas. They were married on February 25, 1940 in Salida, CO.
William served his country during WWII in the Army and was honorably discharged. They were residents of La Junta for a very long time. William was the branch manager for Pepsi Bottling Company in La Junta. Christina also worked for Pepsi as a bookkeeper/secretary. They both retired in 1978 and they moved to Salida, CO and resided there for 27 years. In 2005 they moved to the Fort Worth, Texas area where they lived for five years to be with their children Bob & Janet Repola.
They are survived by their children, Sharon (Norm) Sheller of Las Vegas, NV; William (Kathy) Repola, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; Bob (Janet) Repola of Fort Worth, TX; five grandchildren, Shane Repola, Gerry (Amanda) Repola, Susan (Adam) Prusinowski, Vincent (Kristen) Repola, and Jared (Renee) Repola; four great-grandchildren, Kendal & Jace Repola, Noe Lani & Skeeter Repola; and many other family members and friends also survive.
They are preceded in death by their parents, and son, Vincent Repola who died in 1961.
Arrangements are pending through Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory.
