William Keith Reynolds

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William “Bill” Keith Reynolds, age 87, on January 12, 2025. William was born on December 14, 1937, in Hoytville, Ohio, to Donald and Mildred Reynolds. He married the love of his life, Glenda “Tudy,” in 1955, beginning nearly 70 years of love, laughter, and partnership.

Bill was the kind of man who left a lasting mark on everyone he met. Tough as leather, with a heart as warm as the western sunsets he loved, he spent his life working hard, living well, and sharing that soft, knowing chuckle that made you feel like you were in on the joke. Whether it was long days at Coors Brewing or later at Rocky Flats, he approached every task with quiet pride and a steadfast work ethic.

Outside of work, he embraced life’s simple joys—poker nights with friends, a cold Bud Light in hand, and always dressed in his signature cowboy boots that reflected his love for all things Western. He and Tudy traveled far and wide, making memories that could fill volumes. But no matter where life took him, his greatest joy was his family. He had a way of turning ordinary moments into cherished memories with his wit, stories, and how he made everyone feel deeply loved. His chuckle was infectious, his advice always honest, and his presence comforted all who knew him.

Those who carry on his memory include his devoted wife, Glenda; his children, William Keith Jr., Kimberly, and Bradley; his grandchildren, Sara, David, Brandon, Ryan, Breann, and Nicholas; and his great-grandchildren, Ariana, Espen, Ellie, Kyle, Connor, Payton, Sawyer, Marley, Cannon, and Sailor. He is also remembered fondly by his brother, Elmer “Bud.” He now joins his parents, Donald and Mildred Reynolds, his siblings Evelyn, Donald Eugene “Skip,” and his granddaughter Heather, who passed before him in eternal rest.

A funeral service will be held on January 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Peacock Memorial Chapel in La Junta, CO. Friends and family are welcome to send flowers as a tribute to Bill’s unforgettable spirit and the memories he created. For those who wish, donations may also be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children in his memory.

As we say goodbye to Bill, we hold on to the stories, the laughter, and the love he left behind. His boots may be empty, but his legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Online condolences may be made at www.PeacockFH.com. Peacock-Larsen Funeral Home & Arkansas Valley Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
